We want to help you get what you need while staying safe and are temporarily setting up this delivery service for members of the THS community who are most at risk. Requests for food, medicine and bare necessities as well as tech support will be fulfulled to the best of our ability at this time.
Requests will be processed Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Any requests submitted after 5:00pm on Friday will be processed the following Monday morning. You will be contacted by a THS volunteer within 24 hours of your request being processed.
You will get a phone call from the volunteer who will be fulfilling your request so you can discuss what you need, where you need it from and the payment method you will choose for the items being picked up. If you are requesting tech support, then you will arrange a convenient time for the volunteer to provide the support.
Your volunteer will leave your package at a prearranged discussed spot outside of your home. If you are paying cash, then arrange with the volunteer in advance where you will leave the money for him/her.
By submitting a request for a Helping Hand, we ask you to be aware of the following:
1. All delivery and shopping assistance is being provided by volunteers without charge.
2. There is no assurance that an order will be fulfilled accurately, in full or delivered by the requested time. Our volunteer will do their very best to complete this task.
3. There is always the risk of human error.
4. You waive any liability, claims and demands arising from the delivery of requested goods and products from both the volunteer and Temple Har Shalom.
