Engaging in tikkun olam, the repairing of our world, is a shared value that unites us as Jews. The mission of the Mitzvah Action Committee of Temple Har Shalom is to create a culture of social consciousness that inspires volunteers to take action and perform mitzvot.
Performing mitzvot will MAKE A DIFFERENCE in our synagogue, our community, and for those in need. From the youngest children to most mature adults, these acts of kindness instill and reinforce the importance of charitable giving, showing compassion, and pursuing peace. No one is ever too young or too old to be a mitzvah maker. Please consider joining the Mitzvah Action Committee or volunteering your time. Please contact Audrey Taffet, Chairwoman, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about volunteer opportunities.
