High Holy Days Age Appropriate Service Guide
Sanctuary Services (9:00am or 12:15pm): Best for 6th Grade and beyond. Traditional High Holy Day Service led by Rabbi Randi Musntisky and Cantor Anna Berman in the Sanctuary.
Junior Congregation (available at 9:00am only): This Service is designed for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students The Junior Congregation features a creative and age-appropriate Holiday Service filled with contemporary music and relevant readings. The program will continue with learning opportunities to help the children connect even deeper with the traditions of the Days of Awe. Director of Congregational Learning, Elizabeth Bloch and Har Shalom Temple Youth (HSTY) teens will lead the program.
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade Holiday Experience (available at 9:00am and 12:15pm): Children will engage in Holiday-themed learning activities and enjoy a special Holiday snack.
3 and 4 year-old Holiday Experience (available at 9:00am and 12:15pm): Children will engage in Holiday-themed learning activities and enjoy a special Holiday snack.
Second Day Rosh Hashanah Community Service (Rosh Hashanah – Second Day, Friday, September 22nd, 10:00am): Created for the entire community and is open to members and non-members alike. Led by Rabbi Musnitsky and Cantor Berman, this Service will be family friendly, creative and spiritually meaningful! At the conclusion of the Service, all are invited to share in a light Kiddush Luncheon. Tickets are not required for this Service.*
Young Families High Holy Day Experience (Rosh Hashanah – Second Day, Friday, September 22nd, 4:30pm): Designed specifically for families with children ages infant through PreK. Through activities, songs and stories, Rabbi Randi Musnitsky, Cantor Anna Berman and Amanda Jacobs, Director of Mountain Top Pre-School will create a special service designed with our youngest congregants in mind. Tickets are not required for this Service.*
